More details in Diddy and Drake’s fight has emerged.
According to TMZ.com, the friction between the two was over the song “0 to 100 / The Catch Up.” Apparently, producer Boi-1da sent the beat to both artists, but when Diddy didn’t record his verse and had him waiting eight months, Drake moved on and recorded it by himself.
The song would then go on to become a hit, receiving nominations for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song at the upcoming 57th Annual Grammy Awards.
Diddy was upset that Drake didn’t wait, so this past weekend, while both were partying at club LIV in Miami, he approached him. When the hip-hop mogul confronted the YMCMB rapper outside the club, he blew him off. So, Diddy told Drizzy, “You’ll never disrespect me again,” and then punched him.
Drake aggravated an old shoulder injury during the altercation and had to be taken to the emergency room.
