Rapper-turned-reverend then rapper again, Ma$e, recently lost a lawsuit against a model who accused him of stealing an Instagram picture of her and used it to promote his single “Why Can’t We.”
According to TMZ, model Stephanie Delgado was seeking $60,000 in damages because she felt the pic was effective in promoting the single. However, the rapper didn’t respond, so the judge entered a default judgment.
To decide how much she’d be rewarded, the judge asked for proof of how much the pic was worth. So, she said she was once paid $25,000 for a commercial shoot to promote an artist’s music, but was given payment in cash and had no proof.
The judge awarded her $7,500.
