Lil Wayne and Tyga

Nearly two months after Tyga aired out his grievances with Cash Money Records, Lil Wayne followed suit, calling himself a prisoner… much like the Los Angeles rapper did prior.

Apparently, Tyga was on to something… and is likely thinking: “I told y’all.”

After Weezy took to Twitter on Thursday (Dec. 4) to blame Birdman and Cash Money for holding up the release of Tha Carter V, Tyga chimed in immediately on the situation.

He retweeted a tweet from Weezy that read, “I am a prisoner and so is my creativity. Again,I am truly sorry and I don’t blame ya if ya fed up with waiting 4 me & this album. But thk u.” Then, called him a LEGEND, before adding  that his delayed project, The Gold Album, would be released in 2015… independently.

So, is Tyga leaving Cash Money Records?
