J. Cole Takes Aim At Eminem, Iggy & Timberlake On New Song

J. Cole’s 2014 Forest Hills Drive isn’t due out until Dec. 9, but it’s already sparking some controversy.

On the leaked track called “Fire Squad,” the Roc Nation rapper takes some shots at his white counterparts — including Eminem, Justin Timberlake, Iggy Azalea and Macklemore.

“History repeats itself and that’s just how it goes / Same way that these rappers always bite each other’s flows / Same thing that my n*gga Elvis did with rock ‘n’ roll / Justin Timberlake, Eminem, and then Macklemore,” Cole raps on a remix to Timberlake’s “TKO.”

Later, he takes a swipe at Iggy, spitting: “While silly n*gga argue over who gon’ snatch the crown / Look around my n*gga, white people have snatched the sound / This year I’ll probably go to the awards dappered down / Watch Iggy win a Grammy as I try to crack a smile.”

While Cole says he’s joking… he says there’s some truth to his lyrics. “I’m just playin’, but all good jokes contain true sh*t / Same rope you climb up on, they’ll hang you with.”

Woah! What do you think of J. Cole’s new cut?
