Lexus checked in from the Los Angeles Auto Show on Wednesday (Nov. 19), revealing its beautiful LF-C2 concept car.
The open air luxury vehicle explores the brand’s key styling themes of the future with a 2+2 roadster done in a golden yellow, which was produced by a multi-layer paint process. The 2+2 layout features open-air design that allows the driver and passengers to feel the wind through their hair, while enjoying the performance characteristics on their favorite twisty road.
It’s also a luxury Grand Touring concept inspired by the Lexus’ passion for driving.
“The LF-C2 concept shows what’s in store for our brand’s future design direction,” Jeff Bracken, Lexus’ VP and GM. “This concept shows consumers around the world Lexus’ devotion to emotional designs as well as our passion for an exceptional driving experience.”
The LF-C2’s front fascia features an experimental version of Lexus F Sport’s signature spindle-shaped grille. The concept’s grille boasts a refined braided mesh theme, which sits between triangle-shaped LED headlights. The rear is highlighted by Lexus L-shaped taillight bulbs, an exhaust system with chrome-covered quad exhaust tips, and an expressive diffuser design. Five-spoke 20-inch alloy wheels finish off its look.
