Nearly two decades after the original movie, Disney Pixar announced this week that they are working on the fourth installment of the Toy Story franchise.
John Lasseter — who directed Toy Story and Toy Story 2 — returns to helm the fourth film, while the original writing team are also back. The director said he never thought about doing another Toy Story until he heard the concept for the film.
The film will once again focus on the lives of its original characters — including Woody and Buzz Lightyear.
Further details are unknown, but the film is due out in June 2017.
