Mercedes-Benz offers a look into the future with the unveiling of its solar-powered Vision G-Code concept.
The concept was presented at the opening of the carmaker’s new Research and Development center in Beijing. It boasts a Sports Utility Coupe looks, but is 161 inches shorter than the Mercedes GLA.
Details include a multi-voltaic silver paint that doubles as a continuous solar panel across the vehicle’s entire body; an unspecified hybrid engine and all-wheel drive; a holographic grille, which helps indicate the mode the vehicle is in; and LED headlights. Also, hidden cameras act as rearview mirrors.
