Tyga and Drake

Tyga continues to air out his issues with the YMCMB publicly. Most recently, does so on a track.

Following the release of Drake’s “6 God” this weekend, in which its presumed he’s taking shots at Tyga, the Los Angeles rapper fires back with “Make It Work.”

On the song, Tyga spits over piano keys and thumping 808 kicks, offering some bars that seem to be directed at his labelmate. Interesting lines include: “N*ggas wanna take it there, we could take it there,” “why these n*ggas wanna test me on the low though,” “my back against the wall and don’t f*ck with nobody,” and “n*gga never was my homie, all these bitches know you’re corny.”

While he’s not clearly dissing Drake, the timing of the track’s release aligns with that notion.

On Twitter, Tyga claimed the song had “been recorded.”
