After word spread that Chief Keef had been dropped by Interscope Records, the rapper has responded via Twitter.
A source initially told AllHipHop that the label dropped the teen rapper for his numerous legal entanglements and other troubles, despite signing him to a three-album deal worth a reported $6 million in 2012.
The ordeal doesn’t seem to bother Keef, who says he’s still getting money.
“Laughing because to me I been Dropped. mfs ain’t help me Pay no Mf Bills,” he tweeted. “Ain’t sh*t gone stop Jus gets Better and bigger!”
“100% of everything goes to me now Jimmy it was cool splitting it with U But u gave yo spot up,” Keef added, referring to Jimmy Iovine, the former CEO of Interscope.
Keef also promised that the project that were due out… will still be released. First up is his Back From The Dead 2 mixtape, which is due out Oct. 31.
