When it comes to lavish properties, Miami has some of the most amazing in the country. This renovated 1920s mansion, sitting on 6.9 acres of waterfront land in the city’s Coconut Grove neighborhood, has hit the market for a cool $65 million.
The pricetag makes it the city’s new most expensive home for sale, according to Forbes.
The 13,808-square-foot Mediterranean-style home sits on an old coral reef just 23 feet above street level. Most is its rooms flow into the outdoors via a balcony, a walkway, or with direct access to the pool and patio — a theme architects Kiehnel and Elliott decided upon when designing the home.
It also has paths heading out to Biscayne Bay with its on private observation deck, as well as a dock with enough room for a 70-foot yacht.
