Following the NFL’s ban of Beats By Dre headphones from its players during league-related activities, in favor of its official audio sponsor Bose, Apple has rolled out a ban of its own.
According to The Verge, the tech giant has quietly pulled Bose products from its online store — including the QuietComfort headphone series and SoundLink speaker series, both available for sometime.
It comes on the heels of the NFL’s ban and Apple’s acquisition of Beats, a high-profile rival of Bose.
Bose products are also expected to disappear from Apple’s retail stores soon, if not already.
It looks as though fans of the Bose brand will have to look elsewhere to purchase its products.
