Lexus introduced its 2015 LS model this week, offering some minor updates over last year’s model.
New this year, the LS gets a new multimedia system. Accessed through a high-resolution 12.3-inch screen, the new system offers a multitude of capabilities — including the new standard Display Audio with HD Radio, Bluetooth audio, automatic phone book transfer, a vehicle information display and complimentary traffic and weather data; and an enhanced Navigation system that helps with ETA calculation, detour previews, predictive traffic info, and more.
Aside from that, many of the features from the 2014 model transfer over to the 2015. It comes with a standard 386-horsepower 4.6-liter V8, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, as well as the option of the F Sport package, which helps for a more engaging driving experience.
Model choices also include regular and long-wheelbase versions, each with the further choice of rear-wheel drive or all-weather drive (360 hp with AWD), or the the LS 600h L hybrid with 438 total system horsepower from a 5-liter V8 paired with an electric motor and all-weather drive.
