Despite taking over the summer with his breakout hit “Hot N*gga” and introducing the Shmoney Dance, rising New York rapper Bobby Shmurda says he’s not getting his show money.
The 20-year-old took to Instagram this week, expressing his frustration with the industry… and even saying he may just got back to the hood.
“Nah idgaf I’m doing all theses show not getting ma money dey got me doing sh*t every f*cking day so its hard to keep up Witt dis sh*t den I ain’t got nobody to trust ain’t no help in dis b*tch I’m ready to go back to da trap be4 jail #RNS dats how I feel foh,” Shmurda wrote, before eventually deleting the post.
The post included a video, in which he further explained the situation. “If you got a contract with Bobby Shmurda and you don’t have my signature on that paper, sue the sh*t outta them. I don’t give a f*ck, sue them n*ggas,” Shmurda says. “I ain’t getting no money for it. I ain’t doing no more shows.
“If you don’t have a f*cking contract with me, you don’t. Them n*ggas robbing you just like they robbing me,” he added.
Bobby is currently prepping his debut EP, entitled Shmurda She Wrote, which drops Nov. 10.
