N.W.A. Among Nominees For 2015 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame

N.W.A has been announced as one of the acts nominees for the 2015 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

In addition to the pioneering rap group, rockers such as Green Day, Nine Inch Nails, Bill Withers, the Smiths, Lou Reed, Sting, the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Kraftwerk, Chic, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, the Marvelettes, the Spinners, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and War are also on the list.

Fans can vote their favorite acts into the Hall, by submitting your votes on RollingStore.com by Dec. 9.

N.W.A released its debut album, Straight Outta Compton, in 1988, exposing Middle America to a lifestyle they never saw before.

In addition to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the group is the focus on a new biopic, currently being film and produced by members, Ice Cube and Dr. Dre. It's scheduled to be released in 2015.
