Los Angeles graff vet OG Trigz died Thursday night (Oct. 9) in Los Angeles, after being fatally shot.

According to ABC7,  the tattoo/street artist (real name: Michael Pebley) got into a confrontation with another man outside 5150 Tattoo & Body Piercing in North Hollywood. There was a physical altercation, which would escalate into gunfire.

The unnamed suspect reportedly fled the scene in a white Honda Accord, said police.

Trigz has been around the Los Angeles street art scene for decades, making a name for himself with legendary graffiti crews like MSK and ICR in the 1990s. He’s also made countless music video/film cameos, is a member of the 7th Letter Crew, and has been a body piercer at Sin City Tattoo in Pacoima for some time.

  1. So sad, knew him from years ago, such a nice person, I’m glad he got to fulfill so many of his dreams, including opening his shop and having a family of his own… may he rest in peace
