Just two months after its release, Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” reaches a milestone.

The rap star took to Twitter on Tuesday (Oct. 7) to reveal that the single has been certified platinum with over 1 million sold in the U.S. “Just released on UK iTunes and is now certified #Platinum in America #Anaconda #PolowDaDon #DaInternz @bigjuice205 on the boards baby!!!!!!” tweeted Nicki.

“Anaconda,” which is currently No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, has also become Nick’s longest solo No. 1 hit on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, after six weeks.

In August, when the video hit the Internet, it set a 24-hour VEVO record with 19.6 million views and has since been watched over 235 million times.

“Anaconda” will appear on Nicki’s upcoming album, The Pink Print, due out Nov. 24.
