Although it was in the plans, 50 Cent has pushed back the release of his long-delayed solo project, Street King Immortal, to make way for G-Unit.
Following the release of the group’s The Beauty of Independence EP, Fif had planned to follow-up with his solo album. But, apparently, it’s being pushed back to 2015, reports Rolling Stone. Instead, G-Unit is set to release their next EP, The Beast Is G-Unit, due out later this year.
“I didn’t want to lose the momentum connected with everyone being back together,” 50 tells Rolling Stone of the decision.
Since reuniting, G-Unit has recorded 38 songs, six of which will be released for Beast.
