Rapper Too Short was busted with a gun at Burbank Airport on Thursday (Oct. 2), after fleeing the scene in his socks.
According to TMZ.com, the Bay Area rap vet was at the airport this week, when he placed his bag on the conveyor belt to go through security. But, he soon realized there was a loaded gun inside his bag, so he just bailed.
The problem is, he left his wallet and shoes on the conveyor as well, running off in his socks.
Too Short fled to his car, drove off and called her lawyer to ask what do to. Apparently, he told the rapper to just leave and he’d handle it.
TMZ says Short’s lawyer, Keith Davidson, went to Burbank Airport and convinced authorities to ticket his client for misdemeanor firearms possession and not arrest him.
In the meantime, the rapper went to nearby Van Nuys Airport and took a private jet to SFO.
