Microsoft officially introduced its latest operating system on Tuesday (Sept. 30) during an event in San Francisco.
Most expected it to be named Windows 9, but they skipped over it, telling those in attendance that it “wouldn’t be right”, giving its importance. The new Windows 10 will run on a variety of devices including PC’s, phones, tablets and Xbox consoles, while all the applications will be sold from a single store.
Development is still underway with an expected roll out in late 2015. Below is a preview.
