After introducing the new beer back in August, Guinness began bottling the first batch of its new Blonde American Lager at its Latrobe, Pennsylvania location.

On-site was brewmaster Joe Gruss, who told us a little about the new Guinness offering, which hits store shelves this month.

Guinness Blonde American Lager marks the first time the brand has brought its signature Guinness yeast from Ireland to the U.S. Keeping true its brewing heritage, known for quality and taste, the new beer a crisp refreshing tasting amber lager with a floral, hoppy aroma. It's twice as smooth, half as bitter and 80% lighter in color than Guinness Draught.
