Online community Reddit announced this week that it has closed a $50 million round of funding. Among the group of investors is none other than Snoop Dogg, as well as actor Jared Leto
However, it’s unclear how much of an investment the rap vet and actor made in the company, as of press time.
The lead investor is Sam Altman, according to the company’s blog, alongside Alfred Lin, Marc Andreessen, Peter Thiel, Ron Conway, Paul Buchheit, Jessica Livingston, Kevin and Julia Hartz, Mariam Naficy, Josh Kushner and Yishan Wong.
With the money, Reddit plans to expand its staff and continue to develop their product development, community tools, and management team.
