The very first 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has officially hit the streets… selling for a staggering $825,000.
The first production model was actually sold via auction to the highest bidder with all proceeds from the sale going to Opportunity Village, a charity organization helping those with intellectual disabilities.
It’s unclear who the winning bidder was, but it carries a distinct mark. It bears the VIN #0001… and the only to feature the Dodge Viper SRT’s Stryker Red paint scheme, which was hand-painted by the team at Dodge. It also comes with special Hellcat badging, specific VIN documentation and one-of-a-kind memorabilia.
That’s not all either. The $825,000 sale price was matched by the Engelstad Family Foundation.
If you’ve not familiar with the Challenger SRT Hellcat, it’s the most powerful muscle car ever, sporting a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 rated at 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque.
