Dubai has tough drinking laws, making it tough to get a drink outside a restaurant or nightclub. However, here’s an alternative, if you’re just looking for the taste of alcohol.
Currently serving prestigious restaurants in the Emirates is Lussory Gold, a sparkling non-alcoholic white wine that actually contains 23 carat edible gold. It’s made in Spain by Dismark Products, using locally harvested grapes and a German technique to remove the alcohol.
According to Forbes Life, it’s launched last week and is already generating a buzz. It’s available in cocktails or bottles at $150 each.
