After a two-week stay in the hospital, singer August Alsina is getting back to business.
The 22-year-old collapsed on stage in NYC during his “Testimony Live” tour earlier this month, and suffered multiple seizures. He would be transported to a nearby hospital, where he was in a three-day coma and would remain while recovering.
Earlier this week, Alsina was released and returned home to New Orleans, where he’s still recovering, reports TMZ.
“Healthy enough to b Discharged from the hospital today… Scariest time of my life.. but im a soulja & so is God.Thankyou for your prayers,” the singer tweeted.
While doctors tell him he has to take it easy, he is not taking any medication.
Due to the incident, he was forced to cancel his “Testimony Live” tour… but on Nov. 1, he’s set to join Usher on a his 27-date “UR Experience” tour in Montreal.
