Sunset Strip Music Festival: Murs 316 Stage Recap

The 2014 Sunset Strip Music Festival took over Hollywood on Sunday (Sept. 21) for two days of music, including the first ever Murs 316 Stage.

We attended Day #2, which began with a quick set from the Inland Empire's talented and newly formed, Pterodactyl Jones. The set was very lively with colorful lyrics and charismatic (mask wearing) performances from Noa James, Curtiss King and DJ Kid Dxsko.

Towards the end of the evening, we caught a set from Mr. Noreaga himself, N.O.R.E. The Queens, New York emcee took to stage wearing red sneakers ready to perform some of his biggest hits from from his past Capone-N-Noreaga days to his more recent street anthems. He would go on to surprise fans by bringing out storied hardcore rap group Onyx, with members Sticky Fingaz and Fredro Starr unrelentlessly laying one bar after another.
