Starbucks recently tapped Japanese design studio Nendo for these limited edition coffee mugs.

The designers started with a simple white mug, and then added three different graphics to each base in order to give the appearance of the surface when placedĀ upside down. Each mug boasts the design of a different drink at Starbucks; americano, latte and caramel macchiato.

The outside features a minimal Starbucks font running vertically down the side.

The mugs are slated to be released at Starbucks locations in Japan in the coming weeks.
