To catalog every single Air Jordan ever released since 1985 would be quite a task. But, one sneakerhead did it.
Jay Lawrence (of Orlando, FL) has spend the last five years gathering information on every model, every colorway and every bit of history about the Air Jordan line he could find, and put it all in a 500-plus page, 10×8 tome called The Encyclopedia of Air Jordans
The book features over 1,300 clean photos of the entire Jordan line-up, from 1 to XX9, as well as a foreward by a dedicated Air Jordan collector of over 700 pairs, JumpmanBostic. In addition to documenting the Air Jordan line and its history, it also features write-ups on how to clean your sneakers, technology advances, sneaker culture, sneaker events, and more.
Lawrence launched a Kickstarter project to get it off the ground in August, and has since met his goal. You can still back The Encyclopedia of Air Jordans at Kickstarter to get yours sometime in November.
