Burger King Japan unveiled the addition of a limited item this month: two Black Burgers.
Called Kuro Burgers, the fast-food chain swap out their orange-yellow buns and cheese for ones that are black, according to a press release. The Kuro Pearl features solely the black buns, black cheese and a beef patty (not black), while the Kuro Diamond adds on toppings like lettuce, tomato and onions (also not black). Both, however, have black ketchup.
According to Kotaku, the buns, cheese and ketchup are made with squid ink and bamboo charcoal.
The Black Burgers will be available for a limited time, starting Sept. 19.
