Kanye West had a brief health scare in Melbourne, Australia on Wednesday (Sept. 10), when he was rushed to the hospital for an extreme migraine.
According to Woman’s Day Australia, the rap star was rushed through a back entrance at the Epworth Hospital in South Australia at around 2 p.m. An eye witness named Loraine Terry told the paper that Ye was stretchered in and surrounded by security, as doctors tended to him, who believed he had suffered a seizure or could’ve had one in the near future.
“He had one side of his face covered with something white. We both knew it was him because we had seen his photo in the paper everyday and we were shocked because it looked so serious,” she. “Everyone was massively panicked.”
Despite the scare, he recovered and performed later in the evening after leaving the hospital around two hours later.
Since the news spread, a source close to West told Radar Online that “he did go to the hospital because he had a headache. He was treated for a migraine and he’s totally fine.”
