Adidas kicked off September with the release of its brand new Crazylight Boost model, which is the brand’s first basketball shoe to feature its Boost technology. We were fortunate enough to get a pair, and are now offering our viewers a closer look.

The new shoe is exceptionally light, weighing in at just 11.6 ounces. It boasts performance elements such as a ShockWeb overlay reinforcement to add strength, support and premium style, while a soft mesh upper helps for increased comfort and breathability, as well as an all-new collar design with a unique cut for the mobility of a low-top and stability of a mid. And finally, adidas adds Boost, which follows their mission to make athletes better. It’s an innovative material made up of thousands of capsules that help store and release energy efficiently as athletes perform.

As for the design, the Crazylight gets a horizontal three stripes placement across the toe to create a sleek, fast aesthetic, alongside a distinctive gradient color schemes for diverse style.

Shown here is just one of a number of colorways the Crazylight Boost has been released in. It’s available now at adidas Basketball retailers and online for $140 USD.
