Although he’s uncertain about his NBA future, several teams are pursuing sharp-shooter Ray Allen.
According to ESPN.com, the San Antonio Spurs and the Los Angeles Clippers have emerged as teams looking to sign the NBA great before the season starts. Other teams in the race are the Miami Heat, where he’s played the last to seasons, as well as the Cleveland Cavs, who want him to play alongside LeBron James again.
In July, Allen said that he’s still undecided as to whether he’d play for what would be his 19th NBA season. However, teams remain interested in the 3-point specialist.
The Clippers have only 11 players under contract thus far, and could use a shooter like Allen, while the Spurs have one open roster spot at the moment.
