It’s official. Nicki Minaj has announced the release date for her upcoming album, The Pinkprint.
According to Billboard, the rapper’s third studio set is due out Black Friday (Nov. 28).
So far, The Pinkprint has produced the singles “Pills N Potions” and the Sir Mix-a-Lot-sampled “Anaconda.”
According to Nicki, the album was inspired by Jay Z’s 2001 classic The Blueprint.
“I want female rappers to be able to pattern themselves with what I’ve done one day,” she previously told The Breakfast Club. “I think the album is so classic. It’s gonna feel so good and I think it will probably be something that female rappers look to as a Pinkprint for years to come.”
