Jeezy pleaded not guilty to weapons possession charges in Newport Beach, Calif. on Tuesday (Aug. 26), days after an AK-47 was found on his tour bus.
The rapper is facing charges of possession of an illegal assault rifle, after it turned up during a search of his tour bus in Irvine, Calif. on Sunday (Aug. 24). Police were serving a search warrant, issued in the investigation of a fatal shooting in Mountain View, Calif. on Friday night (Aug. 22), which took place during a stop on the “Under The Influence Of Music” tour stop.
Jeezy and five others were arrested, all of which have pleaded not guilty.
He remains jailed on $1 million bail, and is due back in court Sept. 5th.
