GMC invited us to join their inaugural GMC Fantasy Football League in Denver earlier this month. Looking forward to flexing our pigskin prowess, we graciously took the trip for our draft, and along the way, we were surprised with a few VIP events including a private tour of the Denver Broncos’ Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
First stop was the Broncos’ press room and visitor’s locker room. A few of our group took to the podium to dish out a few outlandish post-game remarks, before we hit the visitor’s locker room where we found personalized lockers decked out with our names.
After a few impromptu selfies and pictures, we headed check out the rest of the stadium, including its highly air conditioned video control room to its banquet and even private lounges.
Our final stop, proved to be the most memorable, as we walked down the stadium’s sidelines and were greeted by Broncos star DeMarcus Ware, along with a past Denver Hall of Famer.
Finally, after a moment of shared hors d’oeuvres and Twitter selfies with DeMarcus, we took to our final destination to prepare for dinner and the main event: our Fantasy Football Draft. BallerStatus.com lucked out with the first pick, in which we drafted Minnesota’s Adrian Peterson. We quickly zipped through all 15 rounds, picking up Pittsburgh’s Adrian Brown and Miami’s Knowshon Moreno in the early rounds.
And, after the draft, we proceeded to socialize and play an advance copy of Madden 15 for the Xbox One with our remaining time inside of Coca-Cola’s Fan Zone Suite.
