BMW has launched a pair of zero-emission electric vehicles in its i3 and i8 sports car. Now, German eco-firm EIGHT has launched a solar charging station for both rides called Point. One S.

Installed at BMW Welt in Munich as a showcase, the modern canopy features a curved style, and on top, is an array of solar panels that not only charge the car, but will feed power back into the national grid when there’s no vehicle present.

While it’s a long way from seeing these on regular street corners, it’s definitely a look into what the future could look like.
