Casting for the upcoming N.W.A biopic, Straight Outta Compton, continues to be unveiled.
The latest news is that actor Paul Giamatti has been rapped to play Jerry Heller, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Heller was the manager of N.W.A during their rise and would go on to co-found Ruthless Records with Eazy-E.
N.W.A. members Dr. Dre and Ice Cube, both executive producers for the film, ridiculed Heller, accusing him of robbing the members of the group to line he and Eazy-E’s pockets.
Straight Outta Compton is set in the mid-1980s and chronicles how the five group members channeled their experiences in Compton into mainstream success with music… and helping pioneer gangster rap.
The film is due out Aug. 14, 2015.
