Rapper Kid Ink was arrested in Las Vegas early Saturday (Aug. 16) on a disturbing the peace charge.
According to TMZ.com, the Los Angeles rapper (real name: Brian Todd Collins) was busted at the 1Oak nightclub at the Mirage Hotel and Casino at around 3 am following a fight in the club.
Sources say Kid Ink and his friends were taking photos on the closed red carpet, but his female friend got into some sort of altercation with a third party and security, which escalated into a fight.
The rapper and friend was hauled off to jail — Kid Ink for disturbing the peace, while the female friend was book on giving a false statement to officers, which is unknown.
Kid Ink has since been released and has a court date slated for Monday (Aug. 18).
