Samsung finally addresses one of the biggest criticisms of its smartphones — that it’s traditionally made of plastic — with the introduction of the Galaxy Alpha.

The latest in the tech giant’s smartphone line boasts a durable metal frame that weighs in at just 115 grams… along with a 4.7-inch, 1280×720 Super AMOLED display powered by it proprietary Exynos octacore processor — Quad 1.8GHz + Quad 1.3 GHz. Additional features include 2GB worth of RAM, 32GB of internal storage (no microSD), LTE-A support, a 1860mAh battery, a fingerprint sensor and a 12-megapixel rear camera with a 2.1MP front shooter.

The Samsung Galaxy Alpha will release in black, white, gold, silver and blue colorways in September.
