We all know Samuel L. Jackson is in a lot of movies. He also says the word “motherf*cker” quite often. In fact, he’s said the word 171 times in 27 different movies.
To mark the occasion, the Huffington Post offered up a mash-up clip of even single instance in film where Jackson uses “motherf*cker” — including such films as Pulp Fiction, Black Snake Moan and 2014’s Robocop.
In a speech at last year’s American Institute for Stuttering gala, Jackson revealed that he uses the swear word to help him deal with a stutter he’s had since childhood. “Growing up a stuttering black kid in Tennessee in the fifties didn’t quite make me think I was going to end up in a place like this,” he said. “I was the other day on the set of Captain America, and they said ‘Action!’ and I said, ‘G-g-g-et …’ It was a G day. So I have my days. I have G days, I have P days, I have B days, I have S days, and I’m still stuttering. But I figured out a way to do it. And some days, the best thing for me to do is say my favorite word, and I get through it: ‘Motherf*cker!'”
