Former adult star Sasha Grey become one of the industry’s biggest stars before retiring in 2011. This week, she made headlines after filing a restraining order against an ex-boyfriend who she claims convinced her to become a porn star, abused her and said he was a military spy.

According to TMZ.com, Grey filed for a restraining order against ex Ian Cinnamon, who she says subjected her to years of abuse and sexual assaults beginning in 2005 when she was just 16 and he was 29.

She claims Cinnamon convinced her to get into the adult industry by telling her he was a covert agent for the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency), and she would be the perfect “cover” for him.

As the relationship progressed, Grey says he became physically abusive — on one occasion becoming enraged and throwing objects at her when she forgot to check one of her porn sex partner’s STD test.

The 26-year-old (real name: Marina Hantzis) eventually broke up with Cinnamon in 2012, but he recently because sending her threatening messages, at least one with a photo of a handgun. He’s now ordered to stay at least 200 years away from her.

Since retiring from the adult biz, Grey has been making her transition to mainstream, appearing in 2009 movie The Girlfriend Experience and past episodes of Entourage.
