Is Apple’s iPhone 6 launching September 9th?
Re/code’s John Paczkowski is reporting the September date as when the tech giant will host events — which goes in line with the month Apple has hosted big announcements in the past three years.
Traditionally, Apple makes its iPhone available to shoppers 10 days after its debut event, which would mean that the iPhone 6’s release date would be Sept. 19. However, there’s no official announcement to confirm the date.
While details are still speculation, the iPhone 6 is said to feature a larger 4.7-inch display, as well as a faster processor for better performance and an improved camera and a sapphire crystal display that would make the screen durable than past versions.
Other rumors said Apple will also launch an even larger 5.5-inch iPhone that would help the company compete with “phablets” like Samsung’s massive 5.7-inch Galaxy Note 3.
