Jay Z and Beyonce’s “On The Run” tour is slated to come to a close in North American on Wednesday night (August 6) in San Francisco… garnering more than 850,000 attendees at 19 U.S. shows.
According to Billboard.com, the tour has grossed more than $100 million in ticket sales and has sold out more than than 90 percent capacity.
Despite rumors that Live Nation was losing money on the tour, its vp of North American touring Omar Al-Joulani says “everybody’s winning.”
While it’s unclear exactly how much the couple has made, word is that pulled in a performance guarantee of $4 million per show. The tour’s nightly take is over over $5.2 million on average.
“It was a very successful tour, and we’re pleased to have that big gross number at the end,” said Al-Joulani.
