After a slight delay, Remy Ma was finally released from prison on Friday afternoon (August 1).
According to Miss Info, the 34-year-old rapper left Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women at 3 p.m. EST, where she had served six years for shooting Makeda Barnes-Joseph.
Remy was originally scheduled to be released on Thursday, but was held an extra day due to an alleged “phone violation.”
On Friday, she popped up on Instagram with a message: “#I’m back!!”
Remy followed with a photo of her all dressed up and hopping in a sports car. Then later, another in the studio with DJ Khaled… and Saturday a selfie from her own bed.
“Woke up n my own bed, still can’t believe it ! #ImAround #TheRulersBack,” Remy wrote on Instagram.
