The Los Angeles Clippers have added an important piece to the roster, after being eliminated in the Conference Semifinals this post-season to the OKC Thunder.
According to Yahoo! Sports, the team has mashed out a deal with free agent center Spencer Hawes.
The 26-year-old big man has agreed to a four-year, $23 million deal with the Clippers… who had him as a target in an effort to bring in a big man who can shoot.
With the Philadelphia 76ers and Cleveland Cavaliers last season, Hawes averaged 13.2 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. He also hit better than 41 percent from 3-point range and nearly 45 percent while he was in Cleveland.
