Following its online unveiling earlier in the month, Harley-Davidson held the official reveal of its first electric bike, dubbed Project LiveWire, at its flagship location in Manhattan last week.
During the event, influencers and media were able to get some hands-on time with the sleek and modern-looking Harley-Davidson, which is currently in its prototype stage. Later, fans got a chance to try Project LiveWire as well.
We also had the opportunity to speak with the brand’s Senior VP & Chief Marketing Officer Mark-Hans Richer, who offered us with the origin of the bike’s unique name, the inspiration behind its design, and its unique and powerful sound.
In support of Project LiveWire’s launch, Harley-Davidson has kicked off the Project LiveWire Experience, a nationwide tour along the famed Route 66, where the bike will be displayed at more than 30 Harley-Davidson dealerships throughout the year, where fans can test ride and learn more about the story of the motorcycle. And… if you don’t ride, they got you covered with a simulated riding experience called “Jumpstart” to allow consumers to feel its power.
