The Game and 40 Glocc

The battle between The Game and 40 Glocc continues.

Two years ago, the pair got into an altercation following a party in the Hollywood Hills, in which Game beat up his rival, recorded it and released it on Youtube. In the aftermath, 40 Glocc filed a lawsuit, claiming assault, battery, emotional distress and lost wages, due to incorrigible damage to his gangster rap image.

Game, however, claims -- in new docs filed in the suit -- that he was acting in self defense after 40 Glocc had pulled a gun on him, reports TMZ.com.

Following the altercation, 40 explained (in numerous interviews) that Game's entourage had guns pointed at him, which is why he didn't fight back in the video footage.

In the docs, Game also claims that 40 is trying to capitalize off his fame, pointing out that he has Grammy nominations, a TV show and over 1.1 million Twitter followers compared to 40's 53,000.

Furthermore, Game says the whole lawsuit is part of 40 Glocc's "gangster agenda to profit from threats, intimidation and taunts".
