The-Dream turned himself into police on Wednesday morning (May 7) for allegedly attacking his ex-girlfriend last year.
According to TMZ.com, the singer (real name: Terius Nash) was booked two felonies — assault and strangulation.
Dream was wanted by police for questioning in connection with an alleged assault on his baby mama, Lydia Nam, in April 2013. She claims he punched, kicked, and strangled her while she was pregnant with their son. However, she did not report the incident to police until seven months later.
In addition to the two felonies, he was also hit with three misdemeanors including assault, reckless endangerment, and child endangerment.
Dream addressed the allegations on Instagram last week, posting a blacked-out photo with the word “Extortion” next to it.
