After two successful festivals in Philadelphia, the “Budweiser Made In America” festival is expanding this year to two shows — one remaining in Philly and another in Los Angeles.
The festival began in Philly in 2012. This year, Live Nation will produce both the Philadelphia and Los Angeles two-day music festivals simultaneously on both coasts on Labor Day Weekend, August 30-31.
Details and lineups for both festivals will be announced at a later date.
Jay Z appeared on the steps of L.A. City Hall on Wednesday (April 16) to make the announcement, alongside L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti, Budweiser Vice President Brian Perkins, and Live Nation President and CEO Michael Rapino.
“Two years ago this was a dream to put a festival together, to have all types of music, different types of genres ’cause I believe that genres separate us,” said Jay Z.
Early bird tickets are on sale now at LiveNation.com. A two-day pass for L.A. costs $125-185, while Philly tickets range from $100-150.
