SpeedStick GEAR has been following NASCAR rookie Cole Whitt to produce a mini-documentary, as he gears up and participates in the sport’s biggest race: the Daytona 500. “This is the story of how a kid from Cali took on the NASCAR legends in the great American race: the Daytona 500,” Cole says in the beginning of the clip.
Riding in the No. 26 SpeedStick Gear car, Cole amazingly races from 17th to 12th place in the final lap of the Daytona Duels to qualify. During the Daytona 500, he ran as high as fourth in the race, but was ultimately involved in a collision with seven laps remaining, finishing 28th place.
