Lexus unveiled Thursday (April 10) its all-new NX, the brand’s first entry into the luxury compact crossover segment, ahead of its debut at the 2014 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition later this month.
The LF-NX concept was originally introduced at the 2013 Frankfurt and Tokyo Motor Shows in 2013, which influenced the striking and emotional design of the new NX crossover … delivering bold, eye-catching exterior with a low profile and unique roofline.
The SUV is also the first turbo in the line-up, introducing an innovative all-new 2.0-liter gasoline turbo in NX 200t. It will also be available with a naturally aspirated engine in NX 200 with the choice of front and all-weather drive, the NX 300h hybrid, and the NX 200t F SPORT.
Other details include the Lexus-first door handle with a hidden key barrel and integrated lighting; Lexus’ signature “L” shape combination lamps on the rear, each with seamless LED lighting; and Lexus’ signature spindle grille design.
